The Strand Arcade is still in its original form.

In September 1891 the arcade was named after the famous street in London which links the City of London and the City of Westminster. In 1976 and 1980 The Strand Arcade has been threatened by fires.

Today the Strand Arcade is Sydney’s centre of style and design. Many of Australia’s best designer labels, international design shops, manufacturing jewellers, beauty salons and restaurants are gathered under the roof of The Strand Arcade.
