Middle Harbour

Middle Harbour is a more sheltered part of Port Jackson.

Sydney Ferries and other private ferry companies offer cruises in Middle Harbour.

After the Spit Bridge one passes beautiful residential houses built on steep sandstone rocks. Following the coastline the hills are covered with impenetrable bush land. It is hard to believe that the landscape shown on the picture is found only in a distance of about 6 km from the city.
