One of the most impressive landmarks of Sydney is the Harbour Bridge,
which spans the harbour from Dawes Point to Milsons Point.
It
was constructed between 1923 and 1932. The bridge measures 134 m in
height, is 502 m long, 48.8 m wide and weighs 52,800 tons. For only
one coat 30,000 l of paint are necessary. The Sydneysiders call
it the "Coathanger". Can you guess why ;) ?
