daily 9.30 am - 5 pm

Entry fee:

The garden was a gift of the chinese sister province of New South Wales – Guangdong – on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Australia. It is the largest garden of this kind outside China.

The garden is an oasis of tranquillity inmidst the city. Here you even won't hear the noise of the cars of the surroundings streets. Winding pathways, waterfalls, lakes and pavilions follow the principles of traditional chinese landscape design.

The Tea House offers traditional Chinese tea and other refreshments.

The Gurr (Clear View Pavilion)

The Pavilion of Clear View, also called Gurr, is an impressing hexagonal building with gold-plated tiles. It stands on the highest spot of the garden and provides an excellent view of both the garden and the city.

Dragon Wall

The two dragons represent the province Guangdong (the golden one) and New South Wales (the blue one). The Pearl of Prosperity - carried by a wave - between the dragons symbolises the bond between the two states.
